Circulation Plus Active Lower Leg Exerciser (2025)

Circulation Plus Active Lower Leg Exerciser (2025)

Circulation Plus Active Lower Leg Exerciser (2025)

SUMMARY

The Circulation Plus Active exercises the muscles lower leg and feet.  Muscles can be toned and strengthened, something which can be maintained with repeated use.

The muscles stimulated and exercised include the calves (soleus, tibalis and fibularis muscles), and the feet and ankle muscles.

In addition to exercising the muscles of the lower legs and feet, the rhythmic contractions also activates the venous return via something known as the skeletal muscle pump or musculovenous pump. This pump action occurs naturally when exercising and is a consequence of the contraction and relaxation of the calf muscles. Increasing the venous return through exercise has the benefit of boosting the return circulation while you exercise. This action occurs when taking conventional exercise, like walking, or through other forms of exercise which stimulate the calf muscles. This isn’t something you need to even focus on or target, it just happens.

Circulation Plus should not be a substitute for regular exercise, but can be a way of exercising and stimulating the muscles in your lower legs and feet while seated, particularly if you spend significant time sitting or have a sedentary lifestyle.

  • Easy to set up and use

Circulation Plus uses gentle Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to repeatedly contract and relax the muscles in the lower legs and feet.

Programmes:

1: A deeply stimulating rhythmic contraction to both feet/legs at the same time, comprising six seconds of pulses followed by a one second pause.

2: A deeply stimulating rhythmic contraction to one leg/foot followed by the other.  There are six seconds of pulses followed by a one second pause.

3: Features nine different stimulation modes. Each runs for forty five seconds and are then repeated over the 25 minute run time.
